Join Carabiner Collections! Saturday, June 27th, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Hilton College Station (801 University Drive East) for the Pride Book Fair!

This is a FREE, family-friendly community celebration that spotlights LGBTQIA+ stories, culture and history.
It will host author talks & signings, drag performances, a diverse vendor market with community resources, food, and more!

Hotel Accommodations

We have secured a block of rooms at the Hilton College Station Hotel for out‑of‑town guests or for anyone who would like to fully embrace the Hilton experience during Pride Book Fair weekend. To reserve a room at the discounted rate, please call and reserve under Carabiner Collections or click the booking link provided.

Help bring the Pride Book Fair to life! We’re looking for volunteers to assist with setup and wrap‑up, greet attendees, run the bookmobile, support vendors, and manage the raffle table. Whether you enjoy connecting with people or working behind the scenes, there’s a role for you.

We recognize disability justice (DJ) and The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) as a part of our larger civil rights tradition, and strive to celebrate diversity and include all members of our community.

If you need accommodations beyond what is listed here, please reach out to us (carabinercollections@gmail.com) at any time before the event. For accommodations during the event, speak to the greeter at the doors to the event hall, or another person in a volunteer t-shirt.

Accessibility

  • American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters will be provided next to the stage during the entire event.

  • Security will metal detect attendees as they walk into the doors of the event hall. Security will also be present throughout the event space.

  • Most of the event is indoors this year! The only attractions outdoors will be the Carabiner Collections bookmobile and possibly food trucks.

  • Many seats will be available in front of the stage and some around the event space. A few seats in front of the stage will be labeled for people with disabilities.

  • Service animals are welcome inside and outside of the venue.

  • Photography will take place at the event. “No Photos” stickers will be available at the entrance for those who would not like to appear on camera.

  • Masking is NOT required. Masks will be provided at the entrance for those who want them.

  • A free parking lot surrounds the Hilton building. Accessible parking is located near the entrances of the hotel near curb cuts.

  • Brazos Transit District: The Green and Maroon routes have direct stops. The Yellow route is in walking distance from the hotel. An ADA paratransit is available.

    Texas A&M Aggie Spirit Bus: The Reveille (12) route has a direct stop.

    The buses are equipped with ramps for wheelchair users and anyone else who needs them.

    The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle from Easterwood Field Airport.

  • Accessible routes are included in the design of the hotel. Ramps are available next to every set of stairs throughout the event space. Please ask a greeter or another volunteer if you need any assistance finding one.

  • Every effort is going to be made to provide a gender neutral restroom in the event space. All restrooms are accessible or have an accessible stall.
